Sale of Veterinary Equipment, Service and Support Provider in Ireland

Hornblower is delighted to have assisted with the sale of Vetequip Ltd, a leading Irish provider of veterinary equipment, service and support, to the OR Technology Group, a pan European, provider of digital instant diagnostic imaging solutions for the medical and industrial sectors.

The transaction brings together VetEquip’s deep local expertise and customer relationships with OR’s global imaging technology and resources, strengthening OR’s position as a full-service provider of multimodality imaging solutions in the veterinary market. The integration will enable delivery of a comprehensive premium software and hardware support package to veterinary professionals across Ireland.

For further information please see the Press Release from Celtic SMR, part of OR Technology Group, and the full Press Release in German on the OR Technology website.

The deal completed in October 2025 and was managed by our Business Sales & Acquisitions Consultant, Julian Caplin, supporting the directors of VetEquip throughout the transaction process. Julian manages business sales for Hornblower in Ireland from our office in Dublin.

SOLD – October 2025
