How to structure a deal to maximise value? FREE breakfast seminar

Date: 27th April 2017
Time: 8.30 - 10.30 am
Location: Moorgate, London

Hornblower invites you to a round table discussion forum chaired by our managing director, Henry Campbell-Jones, alongside Chris Axford, Corporate and Commercial Partner at Druces LLP, where you can find out more about the process of valuing and selling businesses.

The forum will be from 8.30am to 10.30am on Thursday 27th April 2017 at Druces' offices in Moorgate, London.

It will focus on the pro's and con's of various deal structures. In most sales of SME businesses, deals are not a simple payment of £x million on completion; they are often structured in order to share the upside of the future potential as well as risk between buyer and seller, and in doing so increase the deal value.

By the end of the workshop our aim is that you come away with an understanding of:

1. What type of buyer is likely to acquire your business?
2. How buyers will value your business?
3. Which deal structure will work best for you?

We keep the forums small with a maximum of 10 participants and you will be free to ask questions and discuss issues in a relaxed open environment. We will, of course, ensure that no competitors attend the same forum and we will not give out details of participants so you can be assured that your discussions about selling remain confidential.

Feedback from our previous forums has been very positive. They are particularly helpful for business owners who are looking to sell in 2 to 3 years’ time and are wondering where to start.

We do hope you will be able to attend and are happy to provide an indicative valuation, in confidence, to all attendees after the event.
